Bikalananda kar Raj Bhog
Raj Bhog is an Indian syrupy dessert popular in Indian Subcontinent. It
is made from ball-shaped dumplings larger than Rosogollas of chhena
(an Indian cottage cheese) and semolina dough, cooked in light syrup
made of sugar. This is done until the syrup spread throughout the

The best rosogollas in Orissa are to be found at Bikalananda Kar’s
Rosogollas in Salepur. Indeed, the rasogollas at the Kar Brothers’
establishment are wonderful.
The rosogollas prepared by the descendants are considered the best
rosogollas in Odisha.
They are slightly darker in color than the ones in West Bengal
