Khaja batter is prepared using wheat flour, mawa, and oil. The Khaja are sheets folded in a long diamond-shaped pattern, occasionally stuffed with dry fruits. These are deep-fried in ghee until golden and crispy. After deep frying, Khajas are soaked in sugar syrup.
